Thanks to over 80 volunteers, we planted more than 2,000 native trees and shrubs along the river banks this weekend. It was a brilliant turnout from across the community.
Native hedgerows like these are the backbone of the corridor, providing food, shelter and safe passage for wildlife between larger habitats. Every tree planted is a small investment in a wilder, more connected landscape.
